Dr. Maykin Lerttamrab
Assisstant Professor of Piano Performance
Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Maykin Lerttamrab had received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Oregon in 2016 and Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2009. He regularly performed throughout the U.S. and won the first prize in several competitions, such as the Young Artist Competition at Oregon State, the Phi Beta Scholarship Competition, and the University of Oregon Concerto Competition. His teachers included Dr. Claire Wachter, Dr. Dean Kramer, Mrs. Tan Mong Joo, and Mr. Andre-Michel Schub. He had taught in Duriyasilp Music College of Payap University from 2016 to 2020, and is currently a professor of piano performance in the music department of Chiang Mai University.
Ms. Apichaya Rodkaew
Bachelor of Piano Performance
Ms. Rodkaew has been actively involved in performances, including solo piano recitals at Yamaha Music School, Chiang Mai's Central Festival Department Store, Rangsit University, and Payap University. While the piano is her main instrument, Ms. Rodkaew also plays the flute in Regina's Youth Band.
After graduating from Regina Coeli College, Ms. Rodkaew continued her education at Payap University in 2018 on a full music scholarship. While attending university, she had the opportunity to play in a number of master classes with world-renowned pianists, including Hirotaka Ogura and Atsuko Seta. Additionally, she competed in the highly regarded Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival, where she earned the silver medal.
Ms. Rodkaew has recently received Bachelor Degree of Piano Performance with honor from Payap University and continued her master degree on piano performance at Chiang Mai University.
